Powerpoints

I know I haven't used this much but that is what happens at the end of the school year - I get busy. :)

I do know that there are a few student missing some notes and I need to get these powerpoints accessible to them.  Here they are:

Characteristics of Living Things
6 Kingdoms
Classification
Intro to DNA

Stuff
So, I know I have been lacking in the blogging category.  At least the starters are staying up-to-date.  :)

I think what is going to end up happening is that I am only going to put up the most difficult to make up, the most important to make up and the most commonly missed.  I just don't seem to have enough time to put up every little thing.

Sorry - let me know if there are any you want up here in particular.

Adaptations

Page 10

This is the worksheet and this is the powerpoint.

Instructions for the worksheet
The first section is a definition.  Copy it over from the powerpoint.

The next section is a chart.
In the first column you put the name of the animal.
The second column you need to list the adaptations - the first three are identified for you; the fourth you must identify on your own.
The third column is for your predictions.  For each adaptation you need to make a guess as to why this animal has it (it need not be correct - just plausible).

The bottom section is for the other adaptations listed.  Write down each adaptation and a reason why it would be beneficial.

The back has its own directions.  There are pictures on the powerpoint if you are unsure what each environment is.
